Little heart finally given a rest

Successful surgery leaves a family relieved in Becker, Minn. After one-year-old, Stellan McKinney had a hard time with surgeries due from supraventricular tachycardia, or STV. Doctors were able to stop his heart from racing up to 255 beats per minute. There is a 90% chance the STV is completely gone.

  3. I appreciated this upbeat summary about baby Stellan’s successful heart surgery. It was concise and brought up the most important highlights. Baby Stellan has been through a lot in one year. But, it’s amazing how well those little ones recover and bounce back.

  4. I never knew a heart could go that fast without instantly killing a person. I am glad to hear Stellan is alright. Isn't this the child that the mother blogged about and a lot of people followed. The people following also wrote the child's name and took pictures with it all over the world?
